The Omaha Under the Radar Festival is a multi-day performance event that takes place throughout the city of Omaha. The event supports independent, creative, risk-taking artists at curated events in art galleries, clubs, concert halls, and in non-traditional spaces.
Artists are invited through an application process. It is free to apply.
The festival also features a multi-day composition, improvisation, and instrument building workshop called SOUNDRY, which is led by Dr. Stacey Barelos, composer and pianist.
Past festivals have held events at KANEKO, the Holland Center for Performing Arts, Joslyn Art Museum, The Jewell, The Slowdown, The Bemis Center for Contemporary Art, and other fantastic Omaha spaces.
We are grateful for support and partnership from KANEKO, The Nebraska Arts Council, Farnam House Brewing Company, Muglife Coffee, and many independent donors who make these events possible.
