Spend time with festival artists and attendees in a relaxed atmosphere.

August 6, 7:00PM @ KANEKO

Event 1

Performances by artists Veronica Anne Salinas (sythesizer and voice) and Hannah Weaver (solo vibraphone).

SAFTEY CONSIDERATIONS: We encourage our guests to please wear a mask to indoor performances. KANEKO is a large space, and will accommodate a socially distant seating arrangement. 

August 6, 9:00PM @ OutrSpaces

Event 2

Performances, readings, and improvisations by OUTR Festival artists Phil Smith, Virginia Kathryn, and David Hawkins/Andrew Janak, plus and 8-channel electronic work by Chari Glogovac-Smith.

SAFTEY CONSIDERATIONS: We encourage our guests to please wear a mask to indoor performances. We will limit the audience size to accommodate social distancing of attendees.

August 7, 10AM-2PM @ Joslyn Art Museum

Event 3 - Outdoor Show

OUTR will fill the Joslyn Art Museum outdoor sculpture gardens with sound and movement art, including exceptional solo performances and gorgeous, large-ensemble pieces. 

Featuring a large group performance of "In C" by Terry Riley and "Around" by Fredrick Gifford, with solo and duo performances from Anna McClellan, Benjamin Nichols, Kendall Wooden and Nathan Brumbaugh, and a participatory morning movement meditation. Schedule details in the Digital Festival Booklet.  

Food provided by Mootz Pizza and Zaytuna Mediterranean (food trucks)

Coffee from Bad Seed Coffee

Water available at event

Attendees are encourages to bring portable seating options, including chairs and blankets. 

SAFTEY CONSIDERATIONS: This is an outdoor event. Masks are optional. We ask guests to remain socially distant when enjoying the performances.

August 7, 2-4PM @ KANEKO

Video Installation

Experience the stunning work of composer and video artist Bana Haffar, on view at KANEKO, and join media artist Zach Lovitch for a participatory conversation exploring sound and visual media.

August 7, 5PM @ The Trap Room

Experimental Happy Hour

Relax between events and listen to a curated playsit of experimental music and sound art while enjoying a drink.

August 7, 7PM @ KANEKO

Event 4 - Closing Event

The closing event of the festival will feature performances by Chari Glogovac-Smith, Dereck Higgins & Aaron Gum, Alajia McKizia and more.
